About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of https://theinversity.com and the programmes, sessions and materials we provide (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Xploreroots Private Limited (CIN U80301KA2020PTC140401), 1658, First Floor, 27th Main Rd, Sector 2, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102, India ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Service, enrolling in a programme or booking a session, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who can use the Service
Our programmes are offered to specific age groups: FLY for ages 13 to 17, FLAP for ages 18 to 21, and FEW for women aged 21 and above. If the learner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the enrolment, must accept these Terms on the learner's behalf, and is responsible for all activity under that enrolment and for all fees payable. By enrolling a learner under 18 you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you consent to our processing of their personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You must give accurate and complete information when enrolling, and keep it up to date. We may refuse, suspend or cancel an enrolment where information given is inaccurate, or where the learner does not meet the age criteria for the programme.
What we provide
Each programme description on the Service sets out the number of sessions, their approximate length, the delivery mode (self-paced and/or live) and the access period. We deliver the programme substantially as described at the time you enrol. We may make reasonable changes to curriculum, session timing, mentors or delivery mode to improve the programme or where circumstances require it. Where a change materially reduces what you purchased, we will tell you and you may request a refund under our Payments and Refund Policy. Access to a programme is personal to the enrolled learner. Login credentials, materials and session links must not be shared.
Fees and payment
Fees for each programme are shown on the Service and are payable in Indian Rupees. Fees are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are collected through our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank credentials. We may revise programme prices at any time. A revision does not affect an enrolment already paid for. Once you have enrolled, the fee for that enrolment will not be amended, and no exemptions are made. Refunds are governed by our Payments and Refund Policy.
Educational purpose only - not investment advice
This is important, so please read it carefully. The-Inversity is a financial literacy and educational technology platform. We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in any capacity - we are not an investment adviser, research analyst, portfolio manager or stock broker. All programmes, modules, simulators, exercises, examples and content are provided solely for educational and informational purposes. Nothing we provide is professional investment advice, financial planning, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial product. We do not require, encourage or push any learner to invest real money. Simulators use notional amounts. Any decision you take with real money is your own, taken at your own risk, and we recommend you consult a SEBI-registered adviser before investing. Past performance shown in any example or simulation is not indicative of future results.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: • Record, copy, reproduce, publish or redistribute our sessions or materials without our written permission. • Share your access, credentials or session links with anyone else. • Resell or commercially exploit any part of the Service. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its systems or other users' data, or interfere with its normal operation. • Use the Service unlawfully, or to harass, abuse or harm our staff, mentors or other learners. We may suspend or terminate access where these rules are broken.
Intellectual property
The Service and all its content - including course material, videos, simulators, text, graphics, logos and the name "The-Inversity" - are owned by Xploreroots Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. Enrolling gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the materials for your own learning during your access period. No other rights are granted.
Third-party services and links
The Service may link to, or make use of, third-party websites, tools and gaming simulators that we do not own or control - including third-party simulators referenced in our programmes. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, terms or privacy practices of any third party. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's own terms, and we encourage you to read them.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Where you have paid for a programme, ending your use does not by itself entitle you to a refund except as set out in our Payments and Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access where you materially breach these Terms, where payment fails or is reversed, or where we are required to do so by law. Where the breach is capable of being remedied, we will normally give you notice and an opportunity to remedy it first. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Clauses which by their nature should survive - including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and dispute resolution - continue to apply.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. We make no guarantee about the financial outcomes, income, savings, returns or employment any learner will achieve. Outcomes depend on individual effort and circumstances beyond our control. Certificates issued on completion are in-house certificates of participation or appreciation awarded on conditions fulfilled during the programme. They are not a statutory, university or regulatory qualification.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the programme giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or investment losses, however caused. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Xploreroots Private Limited, its directors, employees and mentors against claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact our Grievance Officer first - most issues are resolved at this stage. We will acknowledge your complaint within twenty-four hours and aim to resolve it within fifteen days. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty days of you raising it, it shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitrator shall be appointed by mutual agreement between the parties; if the parties cannot agree within thirty days, the arbitrator shall be appointed by the competent court at Bengaluru on application by either party. Neither party may unilaterally appoint the arbitrator. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, and proceedings shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding. Subject to the above, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from pursuing remedies available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and where a change is significant we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
