Everything you need to know about The-Inversity programs.
Financial literacy is the ability to understand and use money well - budgeting, saving, borrowing, investing and protecting what you have. It is not about picking stocks. It is about knowing what a loan actually costs you, why a SIP started at 20 beats one started at 30, and how to tell a genuine opportunity from a scam. India's gap here is wide: the S&P Global FinLit Survey found roughly three in four Indian adults could not answer basic questions on interest, inflation and risk diversification. Meanwhile UPI made spending instant for a generation that was never taught to track it.
Earlier than most families expect. By 13 or 14 most Indian teenagers already handle money - pocket money, UPI transfers, small online purchases - without any framework for deciding what is worth buying. Habits around spending and saving form well before the first salary, and they are far easier to build than to correct later. That is why our FLY program starts at 13, rather than waiting until college or the first job when the patterns are already set.
Increasingly, but unevenly. The National Education Policy and boards including CBSE have introduced financial literacy content, and the RBI and NCFE run awareness programmes. What most students still do not get is practice - the chance to make money decisions, see the consequences, and adjust. A chapter explains compound interest; it does not build the instinct to start early. We exist to fill the gap between knowing the definition and behaving differently.
We split by life stage, because a 14-year-old and a 35-year-old are solving different problems. FLY (ages 13-17) is for teenagers who have money moving through their hands but no system. FLAP (ages 18-21) is for students and freshers facing their first real income, first credit card and first serious financial decisions. FEW (age 21 and above) is for homemakers and working women taking ownership of household and personal finances. If you are unsure, book a free counselling call and we will tell you honestly which one fits - including if the answer is none of them yet.
FLY is Rs 3,999, FLAP is Rs 2,499 and FEW is Rs 1,999. Each is a single one-time payment with no renewal, no subscription and no upsell during the course. That covers all sessions, learning material, simulator access, assignments, mentorship and your certificate for the full eight-month access period.
Both. The core modules are self-paced so you can learn around school, college or work - FLY and FLAP sessions run about 15 minutes each, FEW about 20. Live interactive sessions run bi-weekly on top of that, where you can ask questions directly. You keep access for eight months, so there is no pressure to finish in a particular week.
No to both. If you can handle everyday arithmetic - what you earned, what you spent, what is left - you have enough. Financial literacy is far more about judgement and habit than calculation. Our learners come from science, arts, commerce and from adults who left formal education years ago. Nothing in the programs assumes a commerce background, and nothing requires a formula you cannot do on a phone.
None. Most people who join have never bought a mutual fund or opened a demat account, and several have never had a conversation about money with anyone. We start from what money is and how it behaves, then build up. Learners who already invest usually tell us the value was in understanding why their existing decisions worked or did not.
No, and this matters to us. Nobody at The-Inversity will push, encourage or incentivise a learner to invest. Practice happens in risk-free simulators using notional amounts, precisely so that mistakes cost nothing. We teach how investing works so that you can decide for yourself, later, with your own money and ideally with a SEBI-registered adviser. We are an education company, not a distributor - we earn nothing from any financial product you may eventually buy.
No, and we are explicit about it. We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India in any capacity - not as an investment adviser, research analyst, portfolio manager or broker. Everything we provide is educational. Nothing we teach is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. For advice on your specific situation, consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser.
You will understand what you are doing, which is the part most people skip. You will know how mutual funds, SIPs, equity, fixed income and risk actually work, how to read costs, and how to spot the offers that are too good to be true. Whether you then invest, and in what, is your decision. We will not make it for you, and any decision you take with real money is taken at your own risk.
On completion you receive a Certificate of Participation, and a Certificate of Appreciation where the programme conditions are met. Both are issued in-house by The-Inversity. We say this plainly: they are recognition of the work you did with us, not a statutory, university or regulatory qualification, and we would rather set that expectation correctly than let you assume otherwise.
Access to every session in your program for eight months, curated study material and e-books, unlimited access to the practice simulators, regular assignments and assessments, bi-weekly live sessions, mentorship through the programme, and your certificate at the end. You also get an invoice by email immediately after payment.
You receive a confirmation email and invoice within minutes, with your order reference. Our team then contacts you to confirm batch details and get you started. If anything has not arrived within a working day, write to support@theinversity.com with your order ID and we will sort it out.
Yes. You can claim a refund within 15 calendar days of your first scheduled class - the window includes weekends and holidays, and it runs from the scheduled date whether or not the class was attended. Email support@theinversity.com from the address used at enrolment with your order ID. Card refunds typically reflect in 7 to 10 business days. Full detail is on our refund policy page.
Yes. Alongside the three public programs we build customised financial literacy sessions for schools, colleges and corporate teams, shaped around the group's age, context and available time. If you are a school leader, placement head or HR lead, write to contact@theinversity.com with your group size and what you are trying to achieve, and we will come back with a proposal.
Book a free counselling call - it costs nothing, we do not ask for card details, and there is no obligation afterwards. You can also message us on WhatsApp during business hours, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm IST, or email contact@theinversity.com. If a program is not right for you, we would genuinely rather tell you that on a call than have you enrol and ask for a refund later.
